Returns Policy
1. Return Period
- Items may be returned within 14 days of purchase, provided they are in their original condition, unused, and in original packaging.
2. Processing Time for Credits
- Refunds or account credits will be processed within 7-10 working days from the date the return is approved.
3.1 Standard Stocked Products
- A full credit, minus any carriage costs, will be issued upon receipt of the returned goods.
- Items must be returned at your cost. If we arrange a courier collection, you must ensure someone is present, as we cannot specify a collection time.
3.2 Special Order Items
- Returns for non-stocked or special-order goods are handled on a case-by-case basis.
- A handling/re-stocking charge may apply, subject to supplier terms and carriage charges.
- Goods must be returned at your cost.
4. How to Return Goods
- In-store at our Collection Point - Return goods with a copy of your delivery note/invoice.
- Customer Return – Post the goods using a signed-for service to ensure proof of delivery. WELFIX is not responsible for returns lost in transit without proof of postage/delivery.
- Courier Collection – We can arrange collection for a charge of at least £15. Please contact us to arrange this service.
5. Proof of Purchase
- A valid receipt or invoice is required for all returns.
6. Condition of Returned Goods
- Items must be in resalable condition with all original accessories and packaging.
- Products that have been used, installed, or damaged may not be eligible for return.
7. Exclusions
- Custom-made or bespoke items are non-returnable unless faulty.
- Perishable or hazardous goods may not be eligible for return.
8.1 Faulty or Damaged Goods
- If an item is faulty or damaged, please report it within 48 hours of receipt.
- We may require photographic evidence before processing a return.
- If goods are more than 30 days old but still under warranty, we will attempt to resolve the issue. You may first contact the manufacturer for repairs, as this may be a quicker option. Otherwise, please return the item, and we will either repair or replace it with an equivalent model.
8.2 Faulty Goods – How to Return
- In-Store – Return goods with a completed returns form and proof of purchase.
- Customer Return – Post faulty items using a signed-for service. We will cover return postage costs for faulty goods under 30 days old.
- Courier Collection – Free for faulty items under 30 days old. For items older than 30 days, a collection fee of at least £15 applies. Contact us to arrange collection.
We may require proof of delivery before issuing a credit or replacement.
Power tools will be repaired rather than replaced.
